I opened the Globe and mail today, to find that Donald Jack had passed away. The creator of one of the greatest Canadian hero's of all time, Bartholomew Bandy. The first 4 books of the series gave me as much joy and laughter, as any series of books have ever before and since. Bart was so....Canadian in his escapades, and clumsy ways, and in his way, brave, resourceful, and kind.
Thanks Donald, for all the good memories, and rest in peace....
