I am the grand daughter of Danny and have some of his works so contact me and tell me how you got interested in him. thanks

We have a tattered copy of Danny's first book. My parents were friends of his. We would like to contact a family member.

My grandfather was Harry Waren of 132 Main st. in Springhill.  Danny wrote a poem about him on the front of a coal tram " the face"  does anyone have a copy?

Hi Elissa.
My name is Judy Kavalak (nee Herrett) and I went to school with Katherine.  A friend of mine, Mary Calder MacKenzie was friends with Elaine & June growing up.  She would love to get in touch with them.

Hello Margaret, I googled Danny Boutilier's name  and came across yours . My name is Janet Quinn{Atkinson} and I am from Springhill.Your grandfather used to live in the house right behind ours. I was just wondering where all his children are now. I can remember Catherine and Arnold. I am sixty-four so I grew up with Danny's kids. Would love to hear all about your family and where everyone is now. Janet

Hi Margaret,
saw your post re the miners poet.

In a recent conversation with my kids re. stress in the work place. a line from one of your grandfathers
poems came to mind, something like-----

"can you blame a guy for sitting (with a smoke ?)
in the kitchen , where the roof is safe and sound"

we agreed it must have been extremely stressful to be a coal miner.

I went looking for a book of his poems I bought some years ago, and can not find it.

is it possible---------------

to buy a copy of this book, or,
if not, if you have this poem, would you
possibly e-mail it to me///
