Good news! Bandy has landed, and he's arrived early...

Hitler Versus Me is ahead of schedule, with publication in August rather than September, so you won't have to wait until fall for vol. 8 of the Bandy papers:

As some will have noticed from our "What's New" page, we're working on releasing a new edition of the 1996 Bandy novel, Hitler Versus Me. Scheduled for publication in September, it will include not only the complete text of the earlier hardcover, but also an added bonus: Donald Jack's 1958 novelette "Where Did Rafe Madison Go", a science fiction story set a few years in the future (i.e. in the '60s). It was televised on General Motors Presents the same year as its first publication.

The story revolves around the disappearance of the air force's latest supersonic fighter, the CF-108, and may be of particular appeal for aviation enthusiasts interested in the notorious Avro Arrow, since the CF-108 is evidently an extrapolation into the '60s of what the Arrow might have become had the programme not been cancelled shortly after the publication of Jack's story.
