Donald Jack's copyrights are now in the hands of his literary estate. Publication rights for the first two books in the series are currently licensed to McClelland & Stewart Ltd., while the publication rights to the rest of the series (vols. 3-9) are licensed to Sybertooth Inc.

As to the movie & TV rights, Sybertooth Inc. currently has the rights to vols. 1-9 so any queries could be directed to:

Sybertooth Inc.
Attn: Mr. Chris Paul

Currently none of the books have been optioned for film or TV. A radio production of Three Cheers for Me was done in the early 70s, but that is the only past production I'm aware of.

Does anyone know if the movie or tv rights for the Bandy books were ever optioned? Who is the copyright holder these days?
