                                                                Died

Robert Wilson, born in Novia Scotia, about 76 years ago. At Willington, Illinois. In the year 1871to he was married to Miss Mary Davidson and from this union there were born eight children, five of whom servive, two sons, James and Robert, three daughters Mesdames Robert Watson and Sam Phillips and Miss Kate Wilson all of whom with several grand children live in Chant. Six years ago he came to Chant. He was a skillful miner for four years after coming to this place he labored steadily and fathfully for the support of his family and was a good provider. Two years ago his health gave away, since which time he was unable to work. He was of a quite, unobtrusive disposition. "Uncle Bob" as he was familiarly called, was a friend to every body and every body a friend to him. He suffered much but without complaint. At one o'clock on Christmas morning he passed the portals of mortal life to the bourn from whence no traveler ever returns.
Funeral services were held at the home of the deceased in No 1 town at 3 P.M. on Christmas day and his remains were followed to the cemetery by the family and a large number of friends where, they were quietly laid to rest to a wait the last truphet of God.

This Mary Patriquin that died 7 June 1871 was not the wife of James Wilson she was married to George Carr. (James Wilson & his wife Mary Patriquin where in the 1881 N.S. census records and passed befor the 1891 census) But after a lot of checking I strongly belieave that the 2 mary's where TWINS sisters. I decend from this wilson line a gggrandson.
