Prisoners of War

I noticed in the Heritage Corner in the November 16, 2005 article concerning veterans that only 5 Springhillers were listed as POWs.  Upon reviewing the list I noticed that the name of my uncle Willard H Pyke, a North Nova,  was missing.  He was wounded on D day and taken prisoner and not released until the war was over.
He was the son of Walter PykeMcFarlane Street. Is there a reason why his name was omited?

Hi Harold:
Sorry your uncle was missed from the names of the Prisoners of War but I had nothing on him.  Will add his name so that it will not be missed again.  If you see anything else that has been left out in any of the Heritage Corners would you please let me know as I want to keep them as accurate as possible.

Thanks,
Pat

Thanks Pat, not sure whether you have noticed but I am doing a trivia thing with "the Springhill group" on Yahoo and your column has been a great source of Springhill trivia, thanks again.
