Anyone related to this Veteran - or anyone who may know of his descendants -  please contact <mjward@ns.sympatico.ca>.

I would like to discuss a possible connection to our family.

Thank you

Hi... Alexander MacKenzie Richmond was my grandfather. He was known as "Nugget" by most people because of his red hair.

Hi again... A couple of additions. The post listing Catherine Grace as one of Nugget's children is incorrect. She was indeed the wife of Nugget's son Alec Jr. She is buried in the Richmond family plot, and this may be the source of the error. The child listed as number 3 is actually the second of Nugget's two children. Her name is Ruth and she died in infancy due to cardiac insufficiency. I hope this helps.

I just tried to email Richard Ward at the email address given in the initial post of this thread. The address seems to be no longer valid. If anyone knows his current address, could they please contact him and let him know to check this post? Thanks...

Hello Ruth, sorry for the delay -I do have to update my profile info...

I was seeking info about your Grandfather for a particular reason - which has since been taken care of.

The reason turned out to not be a genealogical connection - but if you are curious - I can be contacted at <mjward@eastlink.ca>

Thank you,

Richard Ward
